There must be demand from villagers to convert their village into Model Village. It will help Team in seeking their cooperation. Moreover, there is system of selecting one Facilitator among themselves as Facilitator for which system of online voting has been provided to the villagers.

Demand should come from villagers. If they are not interested and any agency impose upon them something, there may not be full cooperation and participation of villagers. Therefore, serious villagers should make others aware that if all express their interest, it will be easy for SERDO to adopt their village.

A Facilitator of the village is key person of the Mission in so far as development of his/her village is concerned. As soon as Facilitator is selected, he will be able to see which of the NGOs are reqgitered from his/her district and if his village is adopted for development into a Model Village, his contact details will be visible to all NGO Partners of the district. It will facilitate quick and close coordination, seeking cooperation in planning as well as implementation of the project. Facilitator has to report about progress of the NGO partners to SERDO which will further be passed on to CSR Companies. A transparent system has been developed so that villagers as well as sponsorers will be able to see progress of any project and its quality periodically. He will be trained to function efficiently.

A Facilitator is expected to communicate properly, report and use Mobile/laptop efficiently or take the help of computer trained person of the village. If not, he/she may not be successful and may be replaced. He/she must have strong urge to develop his/her village into Model Village. Once inducted, he will be trained to use the sysytem.

Yes. It will be advantageous for the village adopted that such experts are available within the village. If he/she is found competent SERDO will widen his scope to work in other villages of the district.

There will be unlimited benefits to villagers. First of all all will be linked to a sysytem which will empower them to receive quick messages relating to development activities in their village. Apart from that a Facilitator will find it very easy to communicate with them for holding any meeting like for agriculture if some expert is visiting the village, message can reach them fast and organising meeting with farmers will be very easy. If women, specially SHGs need any latest information/technological intervention relating to their business, Facilitator can easy coordinate with them to avail the offers. If any compnay has launched any innovative product or offering any service which are beneficial to a particular category of villagers or all villagers, the system has been developed to channelise them efficiently. With new interventions, many new ideas will come from all corners which will further enhance the scope of this Mission.
