Our Aims And Objectives

  • Organise surveys, studies and research on socio-economic aspects;
  • Provide necessary fora for discussions/debates on the subjects pertaining to socio-economic research and development by organising symposia, seminars, conferences, etc,
  • Generate public opinion at appropriate levels for socio-economic development;
  • Undertake specific tasks and programmes for welfare and development of people of selected backward regions;
  • Disseminate information on socio-economic aspects of development through publication of reports, papers, periodicals, monographs, books, journals, etc.;
  • Organise camps, tours, campaign, etc. in the areas selected for motivational programmes and training among the people lacking awareness about developmental programmes and measures of the Government and other agencies.;
  • Organise short-term and long-term studies and training courses and programmes for the development functionaries and others engaged in the socio-economic development, either itself or through reputed national/regional level institutions/bodies;
  • To offer prizes, award scholarship, fellowship, stipend, etc. to the poor and meritorious students and research scholars;
  • To establish library, reference centre, data banks, etc. to facilitate research and studies on socio-economic aspects;
  • Provide advisory and consultancy services to the development agencies engaged in the socio-economic research and development;
  • Evolve strategies and provide opportunities to the economically poor people for undertaking self-employment and entrepreneurial activities for improvement of their socio-economic conditions;
  • Undertake similar and ancillary functions as are necessary or conducive or incidental to the furtherance of above stated objectives of the Organisation.

Dr. BK Pandey is innovative by nature has served various Ministries, Departments, and Commissions of the Govt. of India, including Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India, handled Plan and policy issues, Monitoring and Evaluation of Centrally sponsored programs,. Took VRS in 2007 from the Government of India Ph.D. in Economics from Ranchi University in the year 1992. Visited remotest parts of the country as National Level Monitor (NLM) for monitoring various programmes of the Govt. of India, conducting enquiries etc. and has carried out several studies in the field of rural development, sponsored by various agencies.

Dr Samir Kumar Sahu Director of Mayurbhanj Biological Research (MBR), is a dedicated social and environmental activist committed to safeguarding the environments of the five "J's". With expertise in social development, biological research, and project management, he focuses on diverse subjects including health, climate change, rural development, and tribal livelihood. Dr. Sahu's contributions extend to training, capacity building, and publishing research in national and international journals. Currently, he leads a project on women's empowerment through silkworm culture in Odisha and serves on significant committees including India CCM for HIV/AIDS, TB, and Malaria. His efforts signify a holistic approach towards sustainable development and community well-being.

RP MATTOO Mr. Ragniya Prashad Mattoo, President, Natural Resources India Foundation (NRIF) is PG in Mathematics, Agril. Statistics; International Course on Computer Application having over 54 years of experience with commitment to voluntary action for the developmental role in all the stages of project cycle, relating to: Project Formulation, Appraisal, Implementation, Evaluation, Ex-post Evaluation besides building up backward-forward, vertical-horizontal linkages associated with the project(s) in fields of: Agriculture, Environment, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Forestry and National Level Monitor (NLM) to: MoRD, MoDW, MoPR, MoEF (NAEB), GoI; NSTMIS, MoST, GoI, Other State Departments; Ministries of Govt. of India (GoI). His role formerly as: Chief Technical Director and Chief Executive Officer (CTD CEO), ECOTECH SERVICES; As Team Leader, Technical Coordinator; Deputy General Manager, AGRICULTURE FINANCE CORPORATION (AFC), and other reputed organizations have been well recognized and appreciated. As CTD, CEO, ETS he had the distinction of publishing over Seven Books on Forestry Related aspects during 2001-02. Presently, working on research, consultancy and turnkey jobs in the fields of NRM, rural livelihood, development finance, economic security, women and child empowerment, water management etc, operating in over 14 States of India and abroad (USA & Canada). Through NRIF he has been instrumental in preparing and publishing over 130 Reports to various Clients (State Dept. & Ministries of GoI). Mr. Mattoo, R P , has been Former Eminent Citizen (MG-NREGA), Govt. of India; & Awarded: International Best Scientist’s, Life Time Achievement Awards & Certificate of Achievement (2020; Glory of India (Gold Medal) Award (2019); Bharat Ratna Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Gold Medal Award & Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpaee Excellence Award (2018); Bharat Garauv Award & Best Citizen of India Award (2016). He has continued to maintain technical linkages with the selected institutes in India, Italy (Rome) and Israel, and / or places wherever he has visited during his 48 years of illustrious career. His experience of working in the UN SYSTEM has been an added qualification to secure a respectable post in a reputed organization in this LPG (liberalization, privatization; globalization) era. He had also been associated with teaching, research, extension and, communication activities at the FIRST FARM AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY OF INDIA (Pantnagar, the then UPAU and, now GBPUAT, in Udham Singh Nagar District, Uttrakhand State) for the UG and PG students; besides guiding them for their PhD work. He has carried out the crop-cutting experiments / estimates for all the crops then grown on the University Farm Campus (Now GBPU;T) of over 16,000 acres. The estimates submitted by him to the then Vice Chancellor set the precedents for the University Farm to earn profits for then Tarai Development Corporation, Pantnagar.

Mr Baviskar started his career as an Advocate in 1981. In Feb 1988 he was selected and appointed as Law Officer in MSRT Corporation. As a Law officer he dealt with corporate related matters. In Nov 1995, he was selected and appointed a Member of the Industrial Court in the Higher Judiciary of Maharashtra. On retirement, he started legal Practice as an Advocate in the High Court of Bombay & Delhl and occasionally in the Supreme Court of India.

Dr. SP. Singh has served as the CEO of Krishi Evam Shaikshik Prabandh Sansthan (KESPS), where he managed and implemented 28 rural development and health projects. He has written multiple books and published 32 research papers in reputed international journals. His expertise spans parasitology, socio-economic upliftment, watershed management, and health programs. He is also a Fellow of the Zoological Society of India and has served on various committees and commissions of the Government of India.
