If any NGO is working on any specific /specialised field of rural development, if register, it will be easy for SERDO to know presence of such specialist NGOs which will facilitate in the process of planning and implementation of projects relevant to their field of specialisation.

There is demand for specialised skill. They know the subject better than others which gives confidence to SERDO that they will be helpful in planning and implementation of any project professionally. SERDO is promoting professionalism among NGOs.

A single NGO or individual can't claim to be expert of all fields. Since there are many specialised activities required to be taken up in any village, the domain expert will be most appropriate to plan and execute the way they visualised its impact. It's a team work. Therefore, we are motivating NGOs to strengthen district level team with experts of different fields. If any such Individual or organisation make us aware about their expertise, they will enhance their scope to expand beyond the district. If we find that a particular experise is missing in any district, such support may be availed from other district/state. It is in the interest of all experts to enhance their scope and potential.

A doctor who is specialist in ophthalmology, can't treat a patient suffering from cardiac problem. Likewise, an NGO working on education can't work in the field of agriculture. There are many fields that require integration. Therefore, SERDO will not give all responsibilities to a single organization.

Non-professional NGOs can't properly communicate and follow the process developed. It would not be possible to handle them individually. System has to work. Therefore, smart and efficient NGOs can perform better.
